BackThe Euro HIV Index 2009 - a reality check of public policy and best practice in 29 countries
This Index wants to be a reality check putting official plans and policy in contrast to actual outcomes. It illustrates the inequalities in HIV care and in societal conditions around the European Union. Such inequalities challenge not only the survival among people with HIV/AIDS but also the EU principles of equity and solidarity. The Index report is the initial step, we hope to be able to continue working on the development and implementation of good policy.
