Chapter 20 (p. 339-349, in 'World migration 2005: costs and benefits of international migration') explores the relationship between HIV/AIDS and migration, in particular those factors driving migration that can also increase migrants’ vulnerability to HIV, such as human rights abuses, economic deprivation, social inequality and socio-economic instability.
