The number of ethnic minority groups in Ireland has grown rapidly. This publication describes the Regional Health Strategy for the (Irish) Eastern region. Principles of equity and access demanded a strategy that reflects the health and social support needs of migrant workers, foreign students, and any other national or non national ethnic minority group or individual living in the East, as well as those needs of asylum seekers and refugees.
